INTRODUCTION
As a Facility Security Officer, you have been tasked with managing security in your organization. Some FSO's have also been appointed as the Empowered Official under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
This training is broken down into two sessions. During the first session, we will provide you with a basic understanding of the ITAR and controls a company needs to have in place to ensure compliance. For those appointed as the Empowered Official, we will cover the EO's responsibilities and licensing requirements under the ITAR.
